producing
Vorino honey
since 2008
The apiary is
located in a semi
mountainous
area
next to a river
surrounded by
unspoilt nature
and unique
ecosystems
the beehives are scattered
in a field of walnut trees
that belongs to the family
but the bees graze in the
wider natural area
of varied flowering
surrounding the apiary
Acacia, oak, chestnut, linden,
thistle, phlox, clover, coriander,
borage, saxifrage, thyme, heather,
and an affluence of unclassified
wildflowers give Vorino its excellent
taste and nutritional value.
Honey harvesting is done
with special emphasis on the
viability of the bees, as only
a small part of the honey
is collected, so that there
is enough in the hives for
the bees to survive safely.
